Just came back from the talkies. Thor is just brilliant. I think they got exactly the right guys for the role. Anthony Hopkins looks like Odin and Chris Hemsworth has got to be Thor himself. The visuals are great and I was quite happy that they refrained from the gimmick of throwing various things "in your face" just to remind you that you are watching a 3D flick.
The costumes were brilliantly created and Loki actually looks cool as compared to the comic. The Destroyer was worth beholding and I realised how far CG has actually come. It just looked so damn real.
The story left something to be desired but this is a movie worth going to the theater for and in 3D.
